Until recently, I have been trying to synchronize several distinct projects I'm working on. So that I could publish a simple card game, several wallpapers, several new 3d meshes, publish a few videos of my main game, launch my Kickstarter, begin selling greeting cards and 3d meshes through my web store. At about the same time.
I'm constantly learning new things, and making my web sites better. All the while changing my habits to post more blog updates about my progress. I want to provide interesting stuff for people in my web zone.
I'm ambitious, obviously!
My point is, doing everything at once, was slowing my progress far too much.
I realized some time ago now, that greeting cards won't be cost effective for me anytime soon. I would have to set my prices too high for me to compete, not practical. More recently, I discovered that the work required to publish 3d meshes directly through my web store isn't worthwhile, for me. Turbosquid is well worth the fees they charge, at least for me right now.
Everything else is still in the process, though very likely each will be completed one at a time. Hopefully soon.
Right now my focus is on my game engine. I have a few milestones there yet. Then I expect to publish a short game play video, then write a simple card game for Linux and Windows. Eventually a wallpaper or two, and then the Kickstarter.
I'm human, I have to work on projects one at a time.
